Dear Delegates,

On behalf of the Hon'ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, the Government of Tamil Nadu, USAID and UNICEF, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation and thanks to each one of you for your active participation and support to the successful completion of India's Call to Action for Child Survival and Development Summit. Your commitment and collaborative efforts have contributed to the historic launch of a nationwide movement to reduce child mortality.

The rich exchange of ideas, innovations and knowledge during the summit is a cutting edge contribution that India will bring to the global discourse on child survival and development. I am certain that the relationships we established in Mahabalipuram will accelerate the progress of this movement. MCHIP team is in the process of consolidating the summit outputs that we will be happy to publish and share with you once completed.
